Extras wanted in Skye for major production

A casting call has been launched for a major film and television production due to begin filming later this year.

Casting Collective is seeking extras from Skye, Inverness, Aberdeen and Mull. The agency said no previous acting or film experience is required.

Applicants must be aged 16 or over, have completed National 5 qualifications, or the equivalent, and be legally entitled to work in the UK.

The company said successful candidates would be paid at industry rates.

Skye has featured in a number of Hollywood productions in recent years.

In April, Radio Skye reported that scenes for a reboot of the cult film Highlander were being shot in the north of the island.
