World Radio Day
We are celebrating World Radio Day by getting together with our fellow community radio stations across Scotland to broadcast Scotland’s Big Night In on Saturday night kicking off at 7pm and taking you through to 2am!

Here is the line up:
DJ Trevor Reilly
Trevor is a Scottish DJ legend who has been all over the world DJing and has played alongside the worlds biggest DJ’s, he is former presenter at Clyde 1 for those that remember the Smirnoff Experience days and now back on Beat 106 which launched online last year.
DJ Jacob Reilly
For those who don’t know who Jacob is, he is the son of Scottish DJ Trevor Reilly. Jacob has only been DJ’ing for a short time but when you hear his mixes it sounds like he’s been doing it for a number of years.
Simon Abberley from Nevis Radio
Simon is the technical brains for Scotland’s Big Night In who has also produced all of our imaging for the evening. For those that don’t know Simon, he is the Sustainability and Business Manager at Nevis Radio which one of his jobs is to teach students to play decks and present radio shows.
Nevis Radio’s Sean McCartney
Sean has been DJing for a number of years which has taken him around Scotland. He’s been involved with Nevis Radio for 20+ years.
Oban very own Mark Gowdie
Mark hosts Dance Nation every Saturday evening on social media and has been doing so since early 2020. If you were going away at weekends you’ll remember him from Mondo’s and the cooler club where he brought some of the worlds biggest DJ’s along to play. Mark also used to present the weekend warmup on Oban FM in the 2000’s.
