Radio Skye’s Youth Presenters wins a Young Audio Award!

LUKE EVELING

Radio Skye is so very proud of our youth presenter Luke Eveling who won a prestigious YOUNG AUDIO AWARD, a national competition for young broadcasters. Luke was nominated for two awards ‘Best Speech Show’ supported by BBC Young Reporter and BBC Sounds Rising Talent for 16-18years. We were so delighted he won best speech show! Luke has interviewed on his Monday Youth Project the likes of MSP Kate Forbes, Pro Climber Robbie Phillips, Sea Shanty superstar Nathan Evans, Winner of the Voice UK Craig Eddie, Peat & Diesels’ Uilly Macleod, TikTok’s Caz Milligan and many more! The awards ceremony was live-streamed on the 23rd of March and as part of his prize Luke got his own hour long slot at Fun Kids Radio which aired in July 2022. Congratulations Luke!
